This is the most famous of temples in Beijing, but I found the smaller one more interesting since this one is under construction/refurbishment.

They put a lot of work into their statues and pictures.
I wouldn't want to disrespect their faith, but I can't help thinking what a waste of time they put into these false gods when there is one true God.
There was a large courtyard in the middle of the four sided temple. Here I am on the second level with the court yard behind me.
Some of the gods seem silly, some serious, some scary, and there just seem so many. A different god for every concern the people could think of.
The building is very intricately designed.
